EQUIPMENT RENTAL PROGRAM:
Peter Francisco SWCD has two NO-TILL DRILLS available to rent for Buckingham and Cumberland County residents. These drills are for cool season grasses, legumes, and small grains. Both drills are located at the PFSWCD office.

REQUIREMENTS:

55HP tractor with hydraulics must be used to operate the drill
RENTAL RATES:
-
Less than 10 Acres - $150.00
-
10.1-49.9 acres - $15.00/acre
-
50-99.9 acres - $14.00/ acre
- Cleaning Fee (if applicable) - $50
A rental agreement is required to be filled out/signed before and after use.
Taxes will be applied unless a tax exempt form is on file with the District.
Tax exempt participants: It is your responsibility to file a Virginia tax exemption form ST-18

Payment: Cash or Check only. Credit cards are not accepted.
PFSWCD will invoice through the postal service

To reserve a drill, call 434-838-0326 and provide:

CHECKLIST AND RULES

No fertilizer may be put in the drill boxes, as this corrodes the metal

Call the District before making any repairs
-
While seeding, do not make sharp turns with the discs in the ground
-
The drill is NOT to be used on new fields with excessive stumps and/or roots
-
Any damage incurred due to improper use will be charged to the user

Please note that in the event of inclement weather or cancellations,
reservation of the drill will need to be rescheduled.
