Job Announcement:
Agriculture Equipment Manager
The Peter Francisco Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is seeking a part-time Agriculture Equipment Manager to work 500 hours a year (seasonal). The District’s service area includes Buckingham and Cumberland Counties.
This person will manage the scheduling/rental of two (2) no-till drills, and any other equipment; transport no-till drills/equipment to-and-from housing location to landowners and back; provide necessary equipment maintenance needs and guidance on operation requirements to renters. This position requires the employee to be able to work independently, but will receive direct guidance from the District Manager/Sr. Conservation Specialist. Administrative supervision will come from the Peter Francisco Soil and Water Conservation District (PFSWCD) Board of Directors. This position does not supervise other employees. This position may require occasional evenings and weekends.
